The Soap Company of Nova Scotia was founded to provide natural soaps, skin care and cleaning products that really work and help people feel well and content. Cocoa Butter -

This luxurious, rich cleansing bar is chock full of soothing cocoa butter to keep your face & body content in the cold weather season & even after too much sun! Coloured beautifully with real cocoa & scented lightly with benzoin essential oil (reminiscent of vanilla), this moisturizing bar is a favourite 'go-to' during extreme weather conditions.

Unscented -

This is the foundation for all of our regular bars . . . a simple collection of ingredients hand-stirred stirred with love results in this old-fashioned, basic bar. It's great for face to toe cleaning!

Lavender - 

Classic, calming lavender essential oil stars in this soothing bar, along with lavender blossoms to make this a very special soap, indeed!

Ingredients: Plain language: Sea water, vegetable shortening (soybean oil, palm oil [sustainably harvested]), coconut oil, olive oil, sodium hydroxide (lye), lavender essential oil, lavender blossoms. Patchouli -

This all-time-favourite exotic soap has a touch of sandalwood powder & is scented with our signature Be Mine blend of essential oils featuring rich patchouli . . . truly a sensory delight.

Ingredients: Plain language: Sea water, vegetable shortening (soybean oil, palm oil [sustainably harvested]), coconut oil, olive oil, sodium hydroxide (lye), Be Mine blend of essential oils (patchouli, bergamot, geranium, orange), sandalwood powder. Cinnamon -

This spicy bar is perfect for washing hands & body. Full of cinnamon essential oil & cinnamon powder, with a touch of benzoin essential oil, this festive bar will warm up your holiday season.  Note: Cinnamon essential oil may irritate delicate tissue. Not recommended for sensitive skin.

Lemon Scrub -

This multi-purpose, refreshing bar has an invigorating scrub from organic cornmeal from Speerville Flour Mill (New Brunswick), which along with our signature lemon blend of essential oils is equally great in the kitchen, workshop or shower. This soap will chase away cooking smells on your hands, refresh your skin after a day of gardening or working out, & is great at cleaning grease from mechanical work, too!

Size & Pack

• Full bar: appx 100 grams* 

* When freshly made, full-size bars weigh approximately 120 grams. During the curing process water evaporates and the weight decreases. Once cured, the dehydration process continues over time and the weight continues to decrease. Interestingly, the overall dimensions of the bars do not get smaller and with less moisture, bars are harder, so last longer.
