Beeswax Lip Balm

The name Basswood Industries is no accident. Honeybees love basswood trees for

their sweet blossoms, and my dad’s ashes were planted beneath one. It felt like the

perfect full-circle moment.

Ingredients: Jojoba oil, shea butter, beeswax, vitamin E oil

Uses: Helps heal dry, chapped lips and provides a moisturizing, protective barrier

(in the process of improving the recipe to include non-nano zinc oxide for sunblock)

Jojoba oil provides intense, long-lasting hydration by utilizing a wax similar to human

sebum to soften and protect lips.

Shea butter offers deep hydration, intense moisture, and healing properties for dry or

chapped lips due to its rich vitamin A, E, and fatty acid content

Beeswax is natural, moisturizing, and protective, offering a breathable barrier that seals

in moisture.

Vitamin E oil is thick, and moisturizing, offering intense hydration to heal, soften, and

protect dry or cracked lips. It is a potent antioxidant, guarding against environmental

damage.
